Our history
In 1990, Dr. Judit Schultheisz created Gézengúz Foundation. In the same year, she developed the Gézengúz Sphere, the improved version of which is the Huple. In 1991, our rehabilitation activities were given a home in a day care center in Budapest’s 3rd district. We launched neuro-hydrotherapy groups in several public swimming pools. We became part of graduate and postgraduate education at Bárczi Gusztáv Special Education College. The foundation opened its therapy department in the city of Győr. In the local public swimming pool, we launched two hydrotherapy groups. We introduced family therapy. Via a PHARE project, we established cooperation with the De Kangoeroe early intervention center in Belgium: four hydrotherapy groups were launched in Gent under our professional control.
Under the name „Healthy children for disabled children”, we introduced a series of early spring festivities that have become tradition by now We developed architectural and therapeutic plans for an Infant Rehabilitation Cente
Our Foundation invited entries for a photo competition, which was named "The drop". We received 570 art works from 201 competitors. The evaluated photos had been exhibited in the "Mucsarnok" from the 23rd till the 31st of October, and could be seen in different locations around the country as a travelling exhibition afterwards.
